A fantastic game. Of course we already know that, so here is the real reason why I started this thread - the BG&E glitch.
Basically, if you use a Wavebird and it isn't turned on when you boot up BG&E, the game will NOT recognize the controller and you will have to turn off your Cube and try again. Also, do NOT press buttons on the controller while the game is booting up, this will cause the game to not recognize the controller as well.
Just in case anyone was freaking out and thinking their Cube and/or Wavebird were on the fritz - it's just the game.

I've had it happen a couple of times where I was accidentally holding down a button on a regular controller while starting up my Cube, and it was like the button was still pushed down when I started to play the game. Actually, this might've only happened to me with Metroid Prime, but I would assume that it could happen to other games as well. I'm guessing that it has more to do with the Cube.

Dude, I was playing NBA Live 2004 and my point guard started doing crossovers and other ball handling moves uncontrollably which are controlled with the C-stick. The problem wasn't with the C-stick's calibration (at start up) though, because it started happening about 20 minutes into the game! Very strange...
P.S. I had to end up unpluggin the controller, and plugging in a different one. Then it worked fine.

Did you try the hold start and press X,Y for a few seconds trick. That recalibrates the c-stick which has got to be the faultiest button on the entire GC pad. I'm at a point where I have to recalibrate both of my controllers if I turn on the GC.

Is this with the regular controllers? If so, then does that mean your Cube is all buggy? Other than the holding down the buttons when I start up the Cube problem, I've never experienced any problems with my Cube. Except when I play Eternal Darkness, it is constantly loading the game which I'm guessing all games do that anyways, I don't know, but it's very loud. It only does that with ED, though.
