Hiya!

Ive got a standard UK PS2 that Id like to take to the US with me. I have a region-x cd so I can play US dvds and games on it but the whole point of taking it is so I dont have to sell off my games collection or my UK dvds.

Any advice on how to handle the move? Id rather not have to buy one of those power converter things so I was thinking about swapping out the UK power supply for a US power supply.

Any idea of what kind of power supply I would need or if this is even possible?

thanks,
Sarah

I'm curious about this too only in reverse. I'm moving from the US to UK. Does anyone have any suggestions?

TIA

Going to the UK should be quite easy. One option is getting a transformer for the power supply if you cant swap the supplies out (see my problem lol) and then get whats called a Region X disc which they sell in Toys R Us and online or have your PS2 chipped. Either that or you could buy a UK PS2 and take your US games and have your UK PS2 chipped.

So far thats the only way Ive found of getting around the expat problem.
