The Official PlayStation Magazine...
I see that they give away "demo disks" with every mag now.
(Well, they don't exactly call them demo disks, they call them "Interactive DVD's".)
I'm wondering if they're any good? (You know, as to whether each has got a decent amount of playable demos, what those demos are like, and what-not, etc.)
12 issues for $40 DOES NOT sound like much of a deal to me!
But if the demo disks are any good...

I personally think that OPM is one of the better mags dedicated to one system. I don't have a subscription, but I do go to any one of my local Wal-Marts and pop open the mag to read while my girl does the shopping, and if the demo happens to fall out of its plastic sleeve and into my pocket, then oh well. Hehe, heh. But anyways, the demos are pretty cool, most of the time. They usually have at least four good games to play, a couple of bad ones, a number of trailers, some behind the scenes stuff, and cheats and memory card downloads. In the last demo I got, it has playables of Syphon Filter(looking good), Crash Racing(total ass), Space Channel Five(awesome rythm game), Fifa Soccer(also good), Maximo: Army of Zin(neat-O) plus about five more that I can't remember. In past demos, I've played R-Type: Final, PoP, Rez, and many others that have influenced me into buying the actual games. There are always a few surprise games in each demo that I would've never even have heard of if I hadn't picked up the demo. That is probably the biggest benefit of these demos.
BTW, forty bones does sound cheap, when if you buy it off the news stand it costs about twelve bucks per issue!
