It's old news to you but hot news for me. That article was the FIRST article I ever read about Playstation 3. Looks like I'm two years late but it's better than waiting till' 2005, when PS3 comes out, and not knowing anything.

Yeah, that article is old. Last think I'd read about PS3 was that Sony showed a bunch of PS2's linked together to form a super computer to shareholders and held demo's of several popular games.

Rumors people! plus those specs are trash, even if they are true, well not trash,but for a console that may come out in 2005, they are definetly not eye popping.

Most developers can't even max out the graphics of the systems that are out now...so what's the point of drooling over PS3?

So Shogun do you agree that the present systems should:

a) have more time between hardware cycles so as developers actually get a chance max out the systems then release the next systems
or
b) work in tandem with the next generation of systems (as is probably going to be the case with Xbox2).

I heard this same rumor on a different website not more than a month ago. I really don't see how they could upgrade the PS2 even more so than it already is. The only thing I think it could really add on is some slower loading time, maybe bigger memory cards, and a easier to use controller.

Well... the controller is ok now, but it can get aggravating at times for people with short stubby fingers like mine. *Sigh*
