Error Message on Microsoft ME

Hi every one, Now and then my computer encounters some weird error it contains the word KERNEL.EXE is there any way that i could fix this problem from occuring. It would really help if someone knew how to fix this problem is it something with explorer if so how can i fix the problem and make everything run smoothly thanks a lot for your help ahead of time and im looking forward to your replys


KERNEL.EXE shows up when i am either on the internet or just plain clicking on icons on my desktop its a weird error thanks if anyone knows what to do
