XIII....trying to escape to military base

I made it to what I think is the end of the game (or pretty damn close) but I can't complete this level. You have to make your way to the Control Room and deactivate the self destruct sequence in a very short amount of time. I've found the Control Room but there is a gate in there that I can't open even with my lockpick. I passed through a locker room on my way but you can't open any of the lockers so I know that's not the answer. There are no NPC's to interact with at this point so that is out of the question too. If you've done this pls leave me a post and help me out. I've checked all my usual cheat/help site but to no avail. Thanx

This is actually pretty funny. Rem that gate I mentioned.....well there is a pad lock on the gate that you merely have to shoot off the door to gain entry. Do that and the level is over. And I thought it was something I was missing HA HA HA. Thanx 4 the help though.

After this,going down the chute and dealing with the "Mongoose" that has about 3,000,000 hit points, it's the next step,and the only real frustrating point of this game,in the PC version.
