That's right, SCP has joined the ranks of the "ghey" and the "kitty"....yes...he now owns a Gamecube.

So now I have all three consoles...whoopity doooooo. All it means is that now, I will never run out of things to play (as if I was having trouble before with 2 consoles).

So any recommendations on games folks? Aside from Viewtiful Joe, that one just never really did anything for me.

Welcome to the Fluffy Pink Side, Spastic. Things are oh-so-chipper around here. ^_^

The game I'd recommend before all others is Metroid Prime, beyond that you have the Resident Evils, F-Zero, Super Mario Sunshine (don't knock it, it's pretty fun), Zelda (of course), and Soul Calibur.

Congrats, Spastic. I hope you get more enjoyment from your 'Cube than I am.

Metroid Prime is a game I think you will want to check out, just as Renzatic mentioned. If you like Zelda and don't mind the game play similar to Ocarina of Time, you may also want to check that out. There should be some decent third party games for cheap, and of course MGS: Twin Snakes will be coming in March, I think.

I would recommend FF: Crystal Chronicles, but unless you have other gamers with GBAs, I'm not sure how fun it will be as a single player game.

As far as Viewtiful Joe, I agree. It didn't do anything for me either. For some reason, I would enjoy watching Vanessa dance in P.N. 03 more than playing VJ.

Metroid Prime!!! Metroid Prime!!! Metroid Prime!!!

Go buy all the discounted games for cheap. RE and RE0 of course. Eternal Darkness is bad @$$. Super Mario Sunshine is the ultimate platform game for the GCN. Buy Ikaruga for cheap if you can find it. These games are all sweet. But Metroid Prime is the greatest game on the Gamecube (and probably always will be), so buy that right now if you haven't already.

Eternal Darkness could very well be my favorite game of the current generation of gaming, I think it's that good. It's all about 3, 3, 3. Play the game, and you'll know what I'm talking about. Resident Evil doesn't got jack on this one. F-Zero is the fastest game that I've witnessed, but it was a little too easy. I beat it in a week. I don't know why everyone thinks this game tears them a new one. Gamers just aren't as tough as they used to be, I guess. Of course, I haven't beat the story mode on Very Hard, but hell, I don't need to. I've unlocked all tracks and all rides. I think. AX Cup? Check. And destroyed. Enough of my gloating. Ikaruga is another one that definitely should be owned, but I guess only if you are into old-school shmups. Thassall.

Take Peanut Juice's advice of difficulty with a grain of salt though. He is some kind of super gamer or something. I can't manage to score even remotely close to his Ikaruga high score.

Well I'll be... there's been no mention of Pikmin yet! Gadfly must still be off playing his XBox, eh? Haw!

Oh well, I'll plug the game for him... Pikmin is a very good, and very different strategy game. It can be found for 19.99 brand new, eveyrwhere, so with this one I'd reccomend purchasing over renting.

But you know Spastic, other than RPG's I'm not really sure what type of games you like. :confused: You don't post often enough!

I would recommend RE0 and RE Remake. But then, you probably knew that. Metroid Prime is a cool game but other then that, I don't know if you'd like Windwaker or any others.
