how exactly do u get the program to run in developer mode?

Ok,I was just going to put this here today and i FORGOT.
First make a desktop shortcut of the "xxxx/Max Payne .exe" file.
Then using properties remove the "read-only"option of this file.
It took a couple of tries since some times it doesn't go through(at least in my useless case!)
Once the shortcut is free from the read-only constraint,look in the file's path,highlight it and modify it like this:

xxxxxxx/Payne.exe" -developer
The xxxx/Payne.exe" is the complete file name
Make sure you don't forget the space AFTER the quotation marks.
Start the game through this shortcut and it will open the dialog cursor.
While in game I believe the ~ will open a tiny cursor at the bottom of the screen,type whatever cheats you found .

And now a little bonus :

Using the same method modify ANOTHER shortcut like this:

xxxxxx/Payne.exe" -developerkeys

If you run the game through this shortcut,at ANY time in-game,you can use the page up/page down keys(in some PCs the Home/End),and you can scroll through all the 20++ characters of the game,including the puking hobo,or Captain Baseball,or even a VERY naked Mona,and you can continue the game as any of these characters.

WARNING
Some crashes may occur,it did not happen on my PC but some friends with AMD systems experienced some crashes to the desktop,that did not reappear after a game restart or reboot.
The -developerkeys shortcut does NOT produce the cursor/cheats.

I tryed the thing this other person wrote"3tkton" and nothing happens I did a fresh install and try to add the file name as"c:\"maxpayne2.exe/ " -developerkeys" and after that I tryed to install but get this message instead "type a full path with drive letter; for example'c:\APPS.'RESULT CHEAT CODE
