In consideration of forum protocol, is this where I post some specific "Q's" I have regarding difficulties w/signature IMG?
[I have searched through the FAQ's here re: profiles/signatures etc.]

First off are you hosting your pic from your own server or are you sourcing it from another website?

IE:
1.(IMG)http://www.ETwebpage.com/ETsigpic.jpg(/IMG)

or

2.(IMG)http://www.gamespot.com/Randompic.jpg(/IMG)

If you're doing 2 then chances are they've blocked the pic from being viewed on other servers.

Yeah Renzatic Gear, I'm pirating from private URL.
I didnt give it a moments thought...but I did try to upload avatar as signature [leagal kind], wonder why that worked for avatar app but not IMG app? Are they coded differently?
BTW, how do I determine the size of file allowed by videogamereview for signature IMG?

lol, blatant sarcastic reply aside, you'll have to know the exact URL of where your image is being uploaded to on the VGR site before you can IMG it.

And as far as signature size limit, there probably isn't one since you can take a pic from anywhere and use it.

In seriousness,Renzatic Gear, I do know the URL & pasted it. It still shows in my signature! I dont get it???
Ive checked through my upload & profile settings thrice!
I'll keeptrying, I must not be clicking/checking something on.
Funny is that after "saving" signature, I dont get any error message, infact as I said, I can preview my signature, the URL is there, just no picture to see.

Do you have your PM turned on?

Anyway, I'll get back to it tomorrow, its gotta be something small Im overlooking. Thanks for help.

NO NO NO ! It'll take some explaining Renzatic Gear [help me here Lara!], we've been working on this for a while, trying numerous ideas etc. This am, Lara pm'd me stating she had some success getting a IMG to stick with my signature text. What you see [is it a Pokemon?] is what I get...LOL! IF Lara has indeed fixed my IMG woes, I'll be posting something a little different......

...wait...I got it to work by [ :o ] shutting down my Netscape browser AND running the stink'n proprietary AOL browser [which you cant shut off, its tied to ISP connection]. Hmmm... I'l mess around somemore.

This is the second time I've suspected the browser [avatar problem] and have produced results by changing browser, I dont get it.

lol, there ya go! That sig pic is a helluva lot better than that evil pokemon you had up earlier.

Still can't beat my sig though...its a testament to how self absorbed I really am.

OK Renzatic Gear, how did you do it [IMG photo manipulation?]
What Id really like to know is what kind of file [Jpg/gif etc] is it, and how big was file?

I gotta get to work, VGR is robbing me of my responsibilities, LOL!

When you say IMG photo manipulation what do you mean exactly? If you're asking for the best way to post pics on messageboards and whatnot then the best thing to do would be to get yourself your own webspage. My ISP gives me 5 megs with no bandwidth cap for free, yours might do something similar. As for photo manipulation I usually use Ifran View, Photoshop, or occasionally MSPaint..I'm not a pro, but I know my way around it.

And the pic is a 168x258 jpeg, 10k in size.
