however, if you go to Gamerankings.com you will see that in the top 20 games Xbox has 3 games, while PS2 and GC have only 2..

My goal was to make iVirtual become nervous and little bit pissed off and I have succeeded!

Let me tell you this.......Gamerankings.com couldn't rank games even if their lives depended on it. They follow mainstream crap and don't test the underground games that come out for PS2. Xbots are mainstream followers, now that's just sad.

PS2 and GC have blown Xbox away in quality gaming. Xbox doesn't even deserve to be called a 'game system'.

Although this information says little about the "quality of Xbox games" (or the PS2 or GCN), I just wanted to point out the error. This information only explains the quality of 2 Xbox titles. Playing KOTOR is like finally living out a fantasy of being able to venture through the Star Wars universe like they do in the movies.

Not to mention this is one of the best Star Wars games thats come along in a long time.(The hell with that crap RS III on the GC,this game is truly closer to the Star Wars universe than any other game on the market today)

Bar none.If you love RPG's then you'll fall head over heels for KOTOR.And if you are a Star Wars fan then thats an extra bonus.

Some of those people that complained about KOTOR needs their heads examined.Yes its kind of buggy in a few areas,but other than that its the best RPG of this year.There is nothing sweeter than being able to be either the good guy or the bad guy.More games out there should give us gamers options like these more often.

The best games thats scored well for the PS2 this year has been the platform games.Other than that I dont know where you get off talking about how"Xbots"freak out.Look at how fast some of you came to GT4's defense when Tappy started teeing off on what he heard from rumor-ville about how GT4 will be online.

Lets face it most of the big time games that the videogame world has been talking about throughout this year has come from either the Gamecube or the Xbox.Not the PS2.I think the review scores on Gamerankings can validate that statement of mine Sladester.

Exactly, as I said before, PS2's top games are on Xbox in better form...

GTADP? On XBox, better graphics than PC version, customized soundtracks and faster load times.

MGS2? On Xbox(MGS2S), faster load times than PS2 version...still the most overrated game ever made.


The PS2 version of the DP is rated higher cause it's 10$ less even though it looks like butt and has none of the options the Xbox version has...not very likely.

It is interesting then that the PS2 has a score that is a whole 2.7 pecentage points higher then the Xbox version. Of course I would attribute this to the fact that the PS2 version has a grand total of 6 reviews. But in terms of PS2 game quality vs. Xbox, it is intersting to point out that the PS2 chart shows 27 games that rank 90% or higher to the Xbox's 9. Even the GC has 13. But of course the PS2 has so many more games, it's understandable that they should have more higher ranked games as say the laws of probability. However, the highest ranked console exculsive of this generation is Metroid Prime, meaning that GC has the best game of the three and the second highest ranked goes to GC also with WW. But the poor PS2 can only muster a meager 93.7% for it's highest ranked exclusive, GT3 which fails by 1.9% to catch the great Halo. Also, Princ of Persia and Splinter Cell, two games that are said to show how graphics should be done on this generation of consoles are ranked higher on Xbox which means Xbox has better versions of the Multiplat games. But PS2 has 11 exclusive titles that rank at 90% or above. That's more then all >90% games on Xbox combined! Even GC has 6!


And what do all those numbers and statistics tell us about the quality of Xbox games?

There's the "original post." I hope I'm interpeting this correctly because it sure seems to be comparing the Xbox to the PS2 and GC. You can't really talk about quality of one system's games without bringing up the others. Quality implies a higher standard and without the others, you cannot establish a level where a game is consider a quality title rather than just a good one.

All I wanted to point out was that the statistics vert (and anyone else who quotes gamerankings.com) brought up really don't tell you a whole lot. You can bend and interpret them however you want.

MGS2 is one of the best games from Konami.ITs good,but Splinter Cell is better.

Plus we cant help it if the Xbox's version to 95% of all multiplatform titles are considered the best versions Twelve.Thats a fact that I'll stand by til kingdom come.
