Strange, this title was released for PC a few years back [but different game]:

Fable for PC then was an adventure game where as Fable for Xbox seems to be action/rpg genre. Something the 'Box needs more of.

I can find nothing as yet to indicate the Xbox version of Fable will be made available for PC.

I have no concrete reason to believe Fable will be released on PC. Nothing official has been said about it. But there are a couple reasons I think it will be released on PC, even if it follows a year behind the xbox version.

The first is that like Bungie with Halo, Fable (originally Project Ego) was in development for PC before it got diverted onto xbox. Halo is Xbox's bread and butter, yet it STILL came out on PC.

2nd, I don't see the xbox fanbase--who seem to ignore really good artistic stuff way too often--buying enough copies of this too make it worth what this game undoubtedly cost to develop. So, economically it makes sense to release on PC. Especially since

3rd Peter Molyneux has a large fanbase already in the PC world. Fable would be his first game since Black and White, right? It makes good business sense that Molyneux would reserve the right to release this game on PC sometime after the xbox release in order to not blow-off fans of his in the PC world that were looking forward to this game long before it ever got diverted onto the xbox?

You sure about that, Gad? I've never heard of Fable being developed for the PC, only for the box.

And also, even though the game is headed by Molyneux it isn't being released by Lionhead Studios, it's being designed and released by his other company (can't remember the name right offhand) which I believe is console specific.
