Best selling game for November.

Let's all make our predictions for the best selling title according to NPD for the month of November.

My nominees for the month are Socom II, Mario Kart DD, Lotr:Rotk(ps2 version), and FFX2. I expect these games to fight it out on the console end. My pick just by what I've seen locally is Mario Kart DD. But, I think you'll see big numbers for each of these titles. Sorry, xbox troops, but I just don't see anything on the box scooping up the #1 spot or even having a shot at it. I do expect Ninja Gaiden in December could be #1.

Besides how can you say sorry Xbox owners? Its not like Xbox owners hasnt gotten alot of great games lined up for this month.Xbox games just isnt as popular as the overhyped games like SOCOM II and Mario Kart are.But if I had to pick one game for November I'd say SOCOM II.

This isn't about the quality of the games, just which one will take the crown as the top game in the npd trsts chart, that's it. I think PGR2 is great, but no way, no how is this going to outsell MK:DD. This is just for the fun of it, because I think there are some viable contenders for this honor. If anybody thinks something else besides what I've posted will win, vote other and post your choice.

Personally, I'm not fond of any of those games.
But then again, month in and month out, the top sellers rarely match up with my own purchases.

Kudos to you, massimodo, for what should is sure to be a very accurate listing of the months top sellers. I am impressed. Heck, you want my prediction? Well, I predict that those four games you listed will be the top four sellers! How's that?!?

Ah heck... prognosticating is one of all-time favorite past-times, so I'll gladly vote in your poll. :D And I'll even tell you what game I voted for... as I think it will "win" easily: As it is every month, the top spot will belong to a PS2 game... this month it's Final Fantasy X-2. Duh.

As far as an XBox game placing first... don't be sorry. You're just telling it like is - just like you always do. An XBox game has never "won" it... and never will. Well, not until Halo2 comes out, anyways. :p I predict that The Grand Theft Auto Double Pack, PGR2, and Counterstrike will make impressive showings though; with all three cracking the Top 20 - at least.

I would like LoR:ROTK to be in the top spot since this one seems to finally be what the series deserves after stumbling over two very bad predecessors.

However in all honesty I predict it is going to be a heated race between SOCOM 2 and Mario Cart.

GTA3 Double pack for the xbox and PGR2 should make the top 20. I'm not too sure about Counterstrike. Is there realy a point to this game on the xbox after being out so many years on the pc. When they pulled the condition zero portion of the game, I pretty much ruled out CS for the xbox doing much of anything.

You underestimate peoples resolve to find a worthy substitute for Halo 1.5... or for something to tide them over until Halo 2! :p

Hmmm... I see that Max Payne 2's XB release date has been bumped up... now sceduled to ship November 26!

I am unsure what the gaming public would buy, so I had to make my choice solely on what I would buy, and that would be SOCOM II.

I agree with joquito, you left out some games that could easily crack the Top 20, GTA pack for Xbox being one of them, but I also think the poll shouldv'e been best selling game of the holidays.

I hate to say it, but given the series rabid and vapid fanbase...FFX-2 might be a shoo-in. I wouldn't be suprised to see either Double Dash or the GTA 2-pack get it either...
