A friend Emailed this to me. I think it came from the official site. I was hoping they'd do a price drop or change the game bundle, but this looks like their big promotional move:

Oh boy, that sure showed me. I regret ever purchasing my Xbox now... I mean, no senseless promotion, no clutching at stellar deals to try to bump up hardware sales. What a fool I was to ever purchase such a console.

I used to like my Xbox, but I've been shown the error of my ways with repeated OMG Megaton!!!! posts. I guess I'll have to pawn my Xbox at the local fleamarket and get myself a console that has good deals and promotions.

Nice sarcasm there. Obviously whether or not xbox comes up with something that will actually move systems has no effect on current owners enjoyment of the system.

I just like money. . . I bought my xbox on October 28; if xbox is going to drop their price I'd kinda like them to do it before the end of November. See, Best Buy will rebate the difference if the price drops within 30 days of purchase. Then I can take that money and buy Prince of Persia or Ninja Gaiden!!!

But one thing though, that Halo price drop announcement is about as dorky as some of the Nintendo overly proud proclamations of what is really freaking trivial. "The Three little words you've been waiting for". . . .WHO's been waiting for this? Who owns this system and doesn't have Halo--besides me? And the best part of the press release was "Explore. . . .as the DASHING Master Chief." HAHAHAHA. That is SO gay. The DASHING Master Chief? What hack picked that adjective?
