Speaking of games, has anyone played Prince of Persia, any version?
That one rose my curisoty too.
Haven't played it yet.
Too many games on my to get list atm, and it only has a one player mode.
I have too many one player games that I have yet to finish sitting on my shelf already, can't justify buying anymore for awhile.
It does sound good though.... might pick it up late after price drops and if the reviews are not too bad.
Anyone else had a chance to take a whack at this one yet?

I played a demo of the XBox version.
It's pretty good, but I'm not quite sold on it yet. The gameplay seemed a bit too...automated. During fights, my character was doing all sorts of cool stuff onscreen, but it didn't seem like I was really triggering it. I basically just tapped "x" a few times, and the game set itself on autopilot. Graphics were pretty good though.

I picked the game up last week. So far, I'm just 12% into the game, but I like it so far. The combat is pretty good, but not the main focal point, from what I see. The levels are well designed, along with figuring out how to get from one place to another. It isn't a hard game ,especially being able to rewind time, but it's interesting.

All I got to say about Prince Of Persia(Xbox version) is this:The bar has been raised in the action/adventure genre of videogames. This game clearly rocks! I'm only 12% into the game myself and man its been nothing short of amazing.
Plus this game clearly knocks The Wind Waker down a couple of notches on the action/adventure list of games.
The WW WAS the top action/adventure title of 2003.Not anymore. And if Ninja Gaiden makes it out before this year is over then you might as well move WW even further down the ladder. Is POP a must buy? In two words:HELL YES! If you are a GC owner,an Xbox owner,or a PS2 owner buy this game!

Prince of Persia is starting to make my Legacy of Kain: Defiance look worse than it already is (good story & characters, bad camera).

I have POP on rent and I have issues with the game.
First of all, presentation, graphics, frame rates, animation, and production values are all first rate. The camera can be a problem but that can be adjusted with the controller, so no biggie.
Where POP falls short is in the gameplay dept. Not only is the gameplay repetitive, but more importantly, it is also shallow. Running along walls and leaping from poles and bars gets old fast. That stuff is fine, but it can't carry 50% of the gameplay. The combat was also limited in scope. It was executed well, but it needs to be expanded somehow. The puzzles did help mix the gameplay up some.
I think the game would benifit from some RPG elements.. like in Onishuma where there are items to trade and find, or like Maximo where there are power ups and weapon upgrades to acquire. There just wasn't enough fun things to do in this game. That was the bottom line for me. I feel they need to broaden the scope of the gameplay in a big way. The game has potential, but they need to enhance and broaden the gameplay.
I know it is suppose to be a 3D version of the origional game. But times have moved on and gameplay that was great then doesn't necessarily translate into a modern 3D game environment. The scope of the gameplay needs to evolve with the times.
Now if you will excuse me, I will slip into my flame retardent suit.

Hrmnnn... It has been getting top reviews in alot of places if I understand correctly.
To the point I almost though about putting it on my list, in spite of the fact it is one-player only.
Will have to give it a second thought now. Maybe I was right to not consider buying this one.
I might rent it, but I hate renting games. With the price of games dropping and being able to buy used games at a prety low price, that's five dollars that could go to buying a game.
For the price of two-rentals I could pick up Twisted Metal Black and Half-Life off Ebay (which I am still wanting to do asap).
Maybe I might try PoP2... you know they are saving multiplay for the sequel.
