wow man what a crappy graphics engine this thing is pretty fricken sluggish and it seems nomatter what you do to try to get better performance it doesnt work.if you turn the graphics settings down u actually get worse fps.

Speaking of the graphics there overrated they arent what i expected from the way everyone was talking here.I was expecting oblivion type graphics this isnt even close.it seems pretty interesting so far but early on im regretting picking this over vanguard or evercrack 2

Gotta say AoC while it starts great quickly goes downhill. PvP is a mess, funcom breaks classes regularly. Seems to me every patch makes the game worse. Above 40 the content becomes seriously lacking. And the bugs are enough to even cause the most avid fan to wilt...

Well we still have warhammer to look forward to. That one looks like it will be out in September so it should be in open beta soon. Also Mythic has to have had one of the best launches with DaoC of all time. So warhammer might actually work at launch as opposed to most of the games that have come out in the last year.

I still wanna give vanguard a try just couldnt get into conan.oh well...

I'm playing vanguard at the moment myself. Seems to be doing pretty good but they still have quite a few buggy quests. But at least the GMs are really good about advancing you through the stuck points.

That aside the game is working pretty good. The only other bug I've found has been for some bizarre reason many times when you are swiming underwater you can swim through the ground... fortunately it doesn't seem to drop you or anything so you can just swim back up but still it is a pretty large bug.

Aside from that on Saradon the pops seem very good and I've been doing a lot of grouping and stuff with very little problem. I like grouping and I gotta say grouping on VG is a lot easier then any game I have played in the past couple years. I'm not sure if people just love my bard but I've had great luck getting into a group from about lvl 9-23.
