I could have sworn a few years back i seen a program that would let you overclock your cpu from the desktop anyone know anything about this?I want to overclock my cpu another 600 mhz but i cant because the mobo i have has a crappy bios and i havent found an updated bios that would let me mess with the multiplier

yea man i have one it's called ati tool. Everything i done from the destktop. The website is http://www.techpowerup.com/atitool/ for more information. It works pretty well and it works with NVIDIA cards as well. No limits to the overclocking either. Only thing is, at least in my experience is that I have to reset the setting everytime I turn my computer on and off. However I do like that you overclock up and down at will, so if I'm playing an intensive game I'll give my GPU a little more power with the tool. Try it out and let me know what you think.

gah I misread the post. I remember a program that would overclock your CPU but I never got it. Eh I guess I'll look around for it.
