I don't know how much this means in the whole scheme of things but it dawned on me the other day, when I was in my local EB Games, that all the Gamecube related stuff was religated to the left rear of the store and not in my face when I first walked in. What was there when I first walked in? Xbox and PS2 stuff all along the right wall followed by PSOne stuff. Why is GC stuff in the back almost out of sight and mind? I wonder...

Still trying to justify buying a GC but I have the feeling I will end up getting one in a year or so when I can find one used for around $50.00 and the handful of AAA games I want cheap too!

Where I live the local EB is pretty even as far as where they display the consoles... Though the Ps2 section is twice as big as the Xbox or GC's.

Reasons to buy the Cube: Viewtiful Joe, Metroid Prime, F-Zero, Mario Kart DD, Eternal Darkness, Skies of Arcadia, and the Resident Evil remake. If that does't enitce you, forget about buying the Cube all together.

All very enticing titles...beat the Dreamcast version of Skies of Arcadia.

Here's my want list...

Viewtiful Joe
Metroid Prime
F-Zero
Rouge Squadron (2)
Zelda WW...

That's about it...see what I mean? Not enough too warrant a purchase right now for me. I have WAY too many Xbox and a few PS2 "must have's" on my list first.

I wish being a geek wasn't so damn expensive.

Do you know if they fixed the bugs in the Morrowind GOTY edition?

It dosent really mean anything, because in the EB games in the mall where I live, the ps2 stuff is in the front on the left wall, the pc stuff is on the back wall and the gamecube and Xbox stuff is on the right after the register. I think it all depends on the quantities of merchandise and the space allowed.

Spastic Colon Powell is playing GOTY now. You should pose/post the question to him.

in my local Software Etc, Ps2 has the biggest section right when you first walk in, BUT the Xbox section has grown to almost the same size and the GC section is hard to find since the game selection is so meager.

yep same way at every EB in my area.... plus none of the people who work there like it... they tried to convince me to not buy mario sunshine when it launched... i should have listened to them 2 :( but besides the point it's prolly cuz it doesn't sell as well here in tampa
