Here are the 3 things that keep CS from being PERFECT...
1. I know you've been in a dogfight with someone, about to kill them, then they run to a turret...is it even possible to kill people when they are in the turret? I hit one with 5 missles and constant machine gun and it never died. This is a DUMB feature and I will BAN anyone using this in my game session.
2. The Pihrana - you know, the plane that has the electricity that shuts down your plane temporarilly. When I frist started playing, I used it because it didn't really require skill to play pretty good, but it's turned into a HUGE annoyance since. It seems completely out of place in the game and I will also BAN anyone using it in my game session.
3. Not enough Maps - even though Chicago, Arixo, Sea Haven, Lost City, and Windy City are all gorgeous, 5 maps just ain't enough. I actually HATE the Lost City map as well, it seems out of place.
Other than that, this game is the best of its kind ever concieved by a landslide.

Don't ban 'em, just beat 'em.
You can, in fact, kill people who jump in the turret. In fact, the only trick is figuring out how to attack the turret. Never attack it head on, you can attack from directly over the top of the turret looking down, or you can engage it from a distance, as you close in turn off and repeat. Just avoid the instinct to rush directly at the turret, it almost always fails.
As far as the Piranha, each plane has its strengths and weaknesses, I actually think that plane sucks at finishing people off, and you can engage it head on, then break off the attack before you get in range of its electric weapon. I don't sweat those things anymore.
I don't think its right to ban people for using either or/ but it is your room. There is also a plane on each map you can get that is upgraded, will you ban people for using that too. This is the way the game is designed, and you can fault people for playing the game. There is also the Brigand, in this plane you can switch to the tail gun if someone gets behind you, that isn't exactly fair, especially since it is one of the most powerful planes head on. So if you survive head on and get behind the plane, now you gotta deal with the fact the guy can switch there and finish you off. So will you ban people for that too.
The thing with the turret is it can be used effectively in team games, have one of your teammates man it while you cirlce around it, drawing the enemy to the turret fire. Most people will be to confused, if the engage the turret, the planes get them, if they engage the planes, the turret gets them. As far as maps, I completely agree. 5 maps is actually a travesty, especially since two are basically the same, and one sucks, that is Lost City. I think we should see the Lost City map where you fight outside, pretty soon. That will actually be a great map. Then there is the other part of Arixio with the train tracks and the mining equipment. They need to hurry up and release new content, I could use some new planes too. It would be really cool if two people could play in the same Brigand, that would be awesome.
Finally Tappy, you and I were on the BLUE team the other day when we didn't lose a game. You are very good, why let little things like this bother you?

ehh...Im just a critic. I took it back to Block buster so as of now I don't have CS anymore but I plan on picking it up eventually because I really did enjoy it...I'm just gonna wait around for some DLC.

I finished the single player campaign, it was a blast, but it was very quick. The multiplayer is entertaining, but confining. I don't think they are going to release new planes and more importantly levels, fast enough to make me keep the game. Why, because there are just too many good games out, with deeper XBOX LIVE gameplay. Namely, Top Spin. I haven't purchased TopSpin yet, because I figured Rainbow6 and Crimson Skies, would be enough LIVE to hold me down. Rainbow6 is living up to its promise, but i'm beginning to get bored with the limited content on Crimson. Top Spin on the other hand, has so much meat and longevity. So I think I'll be finishing up Desert Storm2, D&D Heroes, and trade them in along with Crimson Skies for Top Spin.
And then of course wait for PGR2. And of course Counter Strike.

only 5 maps got me down too, but the good thing is most of them are very different from eachother (with exception of windy city/cicago).
I can't imagine that they are going to just leave it there. MS has been really good about releasing new downloadable content and I seriously doubt they'll ignore CSK now that it's one of the most popular Live titles out there.
I've been having fun with rainbowsix3 as well. maybe that's why the lack of a cooperative mode is not bothering me in CSK. I get plenty of coop action out of rs3.
as far as banning people who do certain things; I say more power to them. I hate the pihrana, too. One match I was playing i was getting hit by lightning almost constantly and it made me mad until I saw that I had more kills than most other folks and about 80% of the people were using pirhanas. or however you spell it. it's a total newb plane, but oh well. I can school them all something fierce in the constable.
