Hey guys, im new here and new the laptop gaming! i have a PC i built for games but i was wondering if the Dell XPS M1730 was a good laptop for WoW and cod4? i dont really want to spend any extra on it so it would probably be as it comes!

that's alot of power for a laptop. wow. if you have £1500 to burn then why not? but you could easily use that dosh and build a fantastic desktop system. but if playing Crysis on a 17" LCD Dell screen tickles you pink, i'd say take the plunge..

you can also customise the laptop and i'd advise you to get the extra 2Gb DDR2 ram to make it 4Gb. i've read reports laptop battery life lasts that little longer with the extra memory and boy are you gonna need it for this resource hogger

For gaming, i think desktop is the best option, and recently Dell XPS 420 is on sale for $949, looks pretty good
