This game has been pretty well-received, but there are two things that really bug me. The first is the graphics. seriously this game looks worse than Vegas 1! The textures are so plain and lacking in detail. Not a biggie though since it's nice to look at anyway and the graphics are very serviceable, but frankly I was expecting a lot more.

The real problem though is spawning enemies. They literally appear out of nowhere and there's at least one level where can just pop out in front of you. This happened to me in the street where you chase after Mihguel disguised in a hazmat suit. The enemy literally popped up in front of me and shot me down. Stupid!!!

Other than that the game is fine.

ya well the whole r6 series went down the ****ters since after ravenshield. It slightley redeemed itself with vegas 1 however its still not ravenshield. The gameplay is pretty fun and could have been alot better if they would have released an sdk.I think that was my biggest dissapointment with vegas 1 no user made content other then one little mappack.releasing an sdk can add a few years to a games lifespan like with ravenshield i played that for 2 years without an sdk might have played it for 2-3 months max.

Oh and i dont know what they did to the unreal engine but vegas 1 totally made it look like ****.Funny how epic makes it look all clean and polished but then you play vegas 1 and you cant even tell there built off the same engine

There should never be pop-up enemies in a Rainbow Six game. They shoould all be on the map from the beggining, even if some of them are concealed.

well i find the enemies appearing infront of you kind of hard to believe that would make no sense.even the worst r6 game which was lockdown didnt do that.If you got a real copy of the game and its doing that i sure aint going to be picking it up anytime soon.If its a warez copy then maybe that could be the cause a bug of some sort.i find it hard to believe the retail version will have this issue

Believe you me, the enemy pop-in is pathetic. In Vegas 1 you had scripted enemies that pop in but at least htey do so out of sight. In Vegas 2 the mission design is so retarded that I've had 3 areas already where they literally appear magically right before my very eyes. It's pathetic.

It's also hilarious how I can run and gun the game, and I never use the cover button which the game designers seem to be so proud of. Cover button just slows me down, I actually don't have it mapped at all.

That sucks mochan i hope that wasnt intentional i hope its just a bug that can be patched. If this is intentional then i might just boycott ubi all together.Like ive said they made a slight rebound with vegas 1 and even graw 2 was decent, however they need to get back to who they once were and quit selling out to the kiddies.Ive told alot of people i would have taken ravenshield with a complete graphics upgrade or any of the R6 titles before it over what we have now.Lockdown was a complete faliure and was laughed off the ubi forums.vegas 1 could have been not just a good game but a great game if only they had an sdk.Anyways even if i buy vegas 2 it would be a while down the road.Ill more then likey just fireup swat 4 again and host that during the summer.I love ravenshield but ive played 2 years solid of it and am kinda of tired of it maybe in the future ill fire that up again to

Vegas 1 was okay, it wasn't exactly Rainbow 6, it felt more like SWAT actually but that was okay it was pretty fun to play. Vegas 2 at first looks like more of the same but the flaws in the mission design with these scripted enemies is horrendous. It's inexcusable frankly.

R6 needs to be less scripted scripting it like this throws it back to the days of Doom.

Let's not even get to the part of the game where you for no good reason leave your team behind and go solo into a refinery with a gazillion terrorists and totally go RAMBO FIRST BLOOD.

Cool! Does it have mini games too? I'd like to be able to play craps and roulette to win money to buy my squad better gear!

I think they ran out of development time to include minigames but they did include an Experience System to allow you to level up your gear.
