360 or wii??

I have a dilemma... I'm trying to figure out if I should get either a 360, or a Wii.

Do you live in europe or US? Europe just had a huge price cut on the 360, and we can expect one here in the US soon.

The main reason I don't own a 360 yet is because of the known HUGE hardware failure rate. The things are poorly built.

Still, what games do you want? Do you have kids? Are you a kid? Do you love Mario and Zelda games? Does Wii Sports do it for you, with its realistic simulation of bowling mechanics? Does the Wii control amaze you?

Or do you want hi-def graphics and military style games, blow up aliens, a great racing sim (Forza 2), one cool looking cutesy surreal sim game called Viva Pinata. Are you a fan of Halo?

For me, I own the Wii, and had the old Xbox. Right now the system I enjoy most is the Ps3, but I don't want to change the topic of your question.

If there's stuff you want to play on the Wii, get it. It's realiable, and much less expensive. LATER the 360 will be inexpensive and more reliable (hopefully.) Plus, its better to get the Wii first, because the 360 will ruin the Wii for you; after spending a lot of time with the HD graphics on 360 and Ps3, it becomes hard to go back and play the Wii, which visually just isn't as good.
