Now how often do you see that? Although he did bash the game in every way imaginable (like he does every game) I've never seen Yahtzee give a recommendation and thumbs up to a game ever. Even Psychonauts which was arguably was the most "glowing" review he'd ever done didn't get a thumbs up like that.

Hahaha I loved it when he said the only way to get through Far Cry was to bind quicksave and quickload to the left and right mouse buttons.

Crysis is a great looking game, the tech is amazing, especially the physics. Foliage is really well done and looks very realistic. It's gameplay can't be denied though, especially for an fps, as there are so many ways to tackle your objective. The freedom you get in crysis is simply it's greatest asset, you play how you want to play and the suit element really opens that up some more, as you decide when to use cloak, armor, maximum strength and speed etc...in varying situations and circumstances.

Anyways, here's a comparison done between COD4 and Crysis, I think they're both solid games though, but they do have their differences. I guess gamers just have to appreciate that all games should not be the same and play the same. If so, gaming would become really boring and clone-eee. The differences are the differences.

Grrrr, Quit bring this game up Mochan...I'm trying to do everything im my power to forget how amazing this game is and the fact that I don't have the rig to even attempt to run it.

To be honest, I'm going to wait until this holiday season and then I'll jump into a something but I might need some advice from you, Beer or Silversparrow on what to get. I know that AMD and Intel are both reaching for top rank and its a good fight. Vid cards.....hell I can't keep up anymore.

Want my take on Crysis? Here's my take on Crysis.

Wait 2 years. By then it'll only cost you a nut and a leg to get the hardware to run the game at full settings at a consistently smooth 30 FPS.

I'm still alive everybody. I've just been playing  World of Warcraft again.

Do we need to stage an intervention?

Albeit with everything set at medium as smooth as butter.

If the rumors are true, then we'll be playing Crysis within a years time on the PS3.

BWA-ha, ha, ha, ha!!

If the toughest PCs have trouble running Crysis, I doubt the PS3 will be able to handle it without having the graphics seriously toned down. Hell, you could combine a PS3 and 360 and you still wouldn't be able to run this monster.
